Rebecca (Becs)
DIRECTOR | HR BUSINESS PARTNER
Rebecca has over 25 years' experience supporting small, medium and large businesses in New Zealand and Australia helping them achieve their operational and strategic goals through effective people practices. Rebecca's experience includes HR Business Partner and Senior Advisor roles at AgResearch, Norwood Farm Machinery, FarmSafe NZ, Genworth Financial, & GE Capital.
Alongside her generalist HR experience, Rebecca has experience in Job Sizing, Psychometric Testing and Competency Analysis, Talent Management, Workforce Planning and Change Management. She has worked successfully alongside business leadership in a strategic capacity, enabling the achievement of individual and company objectives through advising and coaching.
Rebecca has an analytical approach and works collaboratively. She seeks to understand the operating environment, specific challenges and risks that businesses are facing, and believes this is critical to the ongoing success of a partnering relationship.

Robyn
DIRECTOR | HR BUSINESS PARTNER
- Robyn brings a variety of experience to the team, most recently 17 years' teaching and researching in human resource management (HRM) and employment relations in the School of Management, Massey University where she gained her BBS (hons) and PhD in human resource management.
- Robyn has extensive experience in workshop design and delivery, research and supervision, as well as support and advice to HR professionals in a variety of organisations and industries.
- Before academia, Robyn worked as a senior manager with responsibilities for 80 staff, as well as a training administrator, legal secretary, and financial administrator.
- Robyn believes in the importance of good workplace relationships where different opinions and approaches add true value to both the process and the end result.
- When she's not at work, Robyn can usually be found in the garden, corralling her children, or planning their next family adventure.

Katie
ASSOCIATE | HR BUSINESS PARTNER
Katie has over 20 years' experience across the human resources function and has built a diverse skill set across multiple HR disciplines. Her career spans roles in talent management, learning and development, recruitment, and general HR, holding several HR roles at all levels including team management at the UK Ministry of Defence for over 10 years.
In 2008, Katie moved to New Zealand, expanding her expertise into community development, where she worked alongside groups to enhance their business skills, foster self-sufficiency, and refine their strategic vision, and returning to HR in local government and HR support to businesses in the rural sector.
With a background that spans not only generalist HR advice and support, but also key roles in delivering large-scale people projects, and coordinating communications to designing training initiatives. Whether in leadership, coaching, or advisory roles, Katie is passionate about guiding teams through transitions and aligning HR strategies with organisational goals.
Her approach blends strategic thinking with an empathetic, hands-on style that fosters strong relationships and delivers both immediate and long-term value to organisations.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys pursuing her interests in horticulture, DIY, and spending time with family and helping out on the farm.

Elizabeth (Liz)
SENIOR HR ADVISOR
Elizabeth brings over 10 years of experience in HR in a variety of industries including agriculture, professional services, government, and utilities.
Elizabeth enjoys the mix that a generalist HR role offers, but has a particular interest in onboarding, talent management, employee development, and compliance.
When Elizabeth is not helping businesses thrive, she loves engaging in creative hobbies, exploring the Manawatu with her family, and bike rides.

Megan
CONFLICT RESOLUTION SPECIALIST
Megan is a skilled and experienced conflict-management specialist, with rich and diverse work experiences in law, teaching, and mediation spanning Zimbabwe, France, and New Zealand.
Megan currently works at Massey University as a Senior Tutor in the School of Management at Massey University, and was previously part of the Disputes Resolution Centre teaching team at Massey Palmy.
Megan is a member of ANZELA, the Manawatu Dispute Resolution networking group, and Massey University Mediation Services.
Megan works with the HR Collab as a workshop facilitator and consultant.
Megan is an avid gardener, cook and book worm.
lisa tyler
LEGAL EXECUTIVE
The HR Collab partners with Lisa Tyler on legal aspects of employment matters as needed.
Lisa is a highly skilled employment law specialist with over 15 years' experience in employment litigation including employment negotiations, restructuring, personal grievances, attending mediations, and assisting on matters in the Employment Relations Authority.
Lisa's no-nonsense, pragmatic approach with a strong emphasis on achieving fairness for her clients has achieved her a strong, positive reputation amongst her long-standing clients.
Lisa is a qualified Legal Executive employed at Glenn Mason Barrister, and has a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies in Dispute Resolution through Massey University.
